A quick communications thumbwheel can be pulled up from the lower right corner. Other options for switching the ammo or using consumables are on sides. The controls are done through a virtual thumbpad on the left hand lower corner and zoom and fire controls on the right hand side. Players also have the option to zoom to a first person mode viewing down the barrel of the tank gun for more accurate shooting. The game play is done from a third person perspective from behind the tank or the turret depending upon how the turret might be rotated. In general the matching system does a good job but every once in a while you will end up in a match with a severely underpowered tank that isn’t going to be doing much.
Typically matches involved tanks within three tiers of one another. Over time, they can upgrade these tanks through earned experience and eventually research new tanks including medium, heavy and tank destroyers. Players start with a tier 1 tank from each of the three nations: Russia, Germany and USA. World of Tanks Blitz is essentially a tank simulator that is played in skirmishes that randomly match up various tanks into teams that must either eliminate the enemy or capture the base. While it does not have the same level of detail and complexities as the PC version, it still offers a great experience for those that want to play a tank combat simulator on the go. On June 26th, the company released World of Tanks Blitz for iOS to bring the game to Apple’s tablets. It has been upgraded and improved over those years to be a very complex game. World of Tanks was originally launched for the Windows platform by way back at the end of 2010.
